TZMs are encouraged to pursue outreach opportunities that fit with their unique task force and regions.
WHAT IS OUTREACH?
Outreach is a form of marketing the goals and causes that are priorities of an organization. It is the practice of information sharing with key community members.
TYPES OF OUTREACH
- Conversations with partners, key community members, and stakeholders
- Print campaigns that include media and rack cards
- Partnering with organizations that have similar missions
PROCEDURE
- Attend meetings held by organizations that include traffic safety as part of their objectives.
- Support officers in the use of rack cards to educate the public during HVE.
- Make guest presentations or coordinate presenters for audiences interested in traffic safety.
